Michelle Bailey - A vicar returns

Michelle Bailey Vicar
I have written quite a bit about Michelle Bailey, a Church of England vicar that has worked hard to get back in the collar. Well actually she is now a Church in Wales vicar and will be licenced in a months times to her own parishes. Life certainly does come full circle. Currently licenced as rural life adviser to the Bishop of Brecon and Swansea and the new Archbishop of Wales John Davies, she has done a sterling job so far.

Michelle bailey the new village vicar.

Michelle Bailey, vicar once turned pariah, is actually a fascinating person to talk to. Her personal life is private and unsurprisingly so. She doesn't deny making mistakes, huge ones, and some based on her emotional state at the time. But I have done some digging and have discovered that there is a lot of distorted nonsense out there conveniently twisted by a bunch of misogynists. Now the phoenix has risen from the ashes and this priest is exactly what the people need. Someone with life experience including the nasty side of life, which she now carries with a grace that few could duplicate.

The impact that she has already had in her ministry is visible amongst those that return to engage with her time and time again. She has also gained approval from the majority of her colleagues, although there is one, whom I believe to be wholly unprofessional, and I wouldn't take communion from let a lone give a confession. But then priests are human, far from perfect and have foibles of their own. So I wont hold anything against this individual.

I honestly believe that she will make a difference to the people she cares for and whose souls she cures. While I don't for a minute imagine she is angelic, she really does have that dust yourself off and pick yourself up attitude to life that is so admirable. I don't live in her parish and wont be one of her flock, but what I do know is that I will observe with a keen eye how she grows and develops in the hearts of others. After all time will tell, wont it?

I've observed her in action when engaging with the public, vulnerable people and also managing her day to day job. I'm not bothered about what detractors may say, she is exceptionally good at her job.

One or two people have tried to leave some derogatory anonymous comments. Quite frankly if they don't have the courage to identify themselves, then they don't deserve the soapbox. I'm quite happy to engage in conversation about my experience of her and how I have come to know her, but I speak for myself not her.

And my message for the last cowardly troll that sent those vile comments about her - No proxy sever is going to help you hide your IP address unless you know how to do it properly. I have a pretty good idea as to who you are and really, if you have something to say, just say it using your real name. If what you say is true then engage with your head held high because I may have a surprise or two for the truth about you as well.
